STAR Academy is a progressive public school located in District 1 in Manhattan. We are a beautiful, small, inclusive, and diverse community where all learners’ strengths are valued so that they are empowered to think critically about equity and access with the vision of becoming engaged change-makers and advocates for social justice. We are committed to culturally responsive and anti-racist curriculum, practices, and ways of being.
